This free online conservatism test is called the IDR-CT. It is informed by the work of Jonathan Haidt, Ph.D., who authored the Moral Foundations Theory, which is a well-known psychological framework widely consulted by political science professionals for research use. Though these IDRlabs quizzes are informed by academic works publicly shared by professionals, our tests and valuations are not associated with any specific researchers in the field of political psychology or their affiliated institutions. The IDRlabs Conservatism Quiz draws on famous and well-regarded inventories for the assessment of the political concept of conservatism and the research and writings of a host of professionals in the political psychology field. However, the test should be considered to be independent of the cited researchers, organizations, and institutions.
Our tests are intended for educational purposes only; free online tests and quizzes such as this one are purely basic inquiries and are not designed to investigate deeply enough to provide a definite assessment of any particular standpoint with complete certainty.
