Open DISC Test

This open version of the DISC personality test was developed as a briefer, more data-based alternative to the classic versions of the DISC Test.

The DISC personality test was invented by psychologists W.M. Marston and W.V. Clarke. With the exception of the 16 items, which are the property of the Open-Source Psychometrics Project, the IDRlabs Open DISC Personality Test is the property of IDRlabs International.

Our free Open DISC Test is one of the few free DISC tests that is subjected to statistical controls and validation and informed by real psychometric data. However, please keep in mind that tests and quizzes such as this one are merely indicators and not a definite judgment on your personality.

Online DISC personality quizzes and tests like this one are classic screening tools that help you find your personal position on the relevant traits and temperaments measured by the DISC (being Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness). There is no DISC Test in existence that can designate your DISC personality profile with complete accuracy or reliability, and no personality test ever been developed can replace familiarizing yourself with the works of the relevant inventories of the field in depth.

As publishers of this free online DISC Personality Quiz, which allows you to discover your preferred levels of DISC traits on the relevant indices measured in organizational psychology (i.e., Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness), we have endeavored to make this DISC Test as brief, valid, reliable, and accurate as possible.

Like the "official" tests such as the Belbin test, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, the Jung Type Indicator, the NEO PI-R, and other such professional, accurate instruments (with which the present test should not be confused), our free online test is subjected to statistical controls and validation in order to ensure the results are accurate and trustworthy.

The authors of this free DISC personality profile test are certified in the use of numerous personality tests and have worked professionally with psychometrics, typology, and personality testing. Prior to using our online DISC test, please note that while some of the results provided may be compatible with the results of other tests and training materials, this test should not be confused with official trademarked tests such as the ones mentioned above. The results of our free online DISC personality quiz are provided "as-is", for free, and should not be construed as providing professional or certified advice of any kind.
