Aptitude IQ Test
IQ is one of the most solid concepts in social science and is widely agreed to be the most effective way of measuring intelligence. This test was compiled by independent researchers with the aim of mimicking pre-employment assessment tools used to help determine whether someone has the aptitude to thrive in cognitively demanding jobs such as software engineer, air traffic controller, scientist, financial consultant, and the like.

The test will consist of the kind of items you see below. First we see a rule then have to apply the rule to a new shape.
Look at the example item above this text. On the top left we see a small purple-ish square then an arrow pointing towards a big square. The arrow shows that the small square turned into the shape on the right, so into a bigger square. The rule here can be assumed to be "turn the shape bigger". On the top to the right there is a small circle and then an arrow pointing to a question mark. In place of the question mark we need to input one of the 5 answer options. A, B, C, D, or E. The small circle needs to follow the rule of the 2 squares so ergo grow larger. Hence the answer is B.
In the example above the rule is now "turn the shape upside down". We look at the main shape then find a shape amongst the answers turned upside down and hence find the answer, D.
In the item above we see a square turn smaller and also turn from purple to white. Hence 2 rules must be applied to the big circle on top. It must become smaller and white. Hence the answer is A.
